Common soilless cultivation methods include substrate cultivation, hydroponics, and aeroponics. In recent years, Chinese researchers have developed new cultivation methods such as NFT (Nutrient Film Foil Technology), DFT (Deep Flow Technology), and aeroponics, improving water resource utilization efficiency and crop yield.
Substrate Materials: Developing new substrate materials to improve their water retention, aeration, and fertilizer retention capabilities while reducing costs.
Nutrient Solution Formulas: Developing more scientifically formulated and nutritionally balanced nutrient solutions based on the specific fertilizer requirements of different crops to improve crop yield and quality.
Cultivation Models: Developing efficient, water-saving, and fertilizer-saving cultivation models to improve resource utilization efficiency and economic benefits of soilless cultivation.
Soilless cultivation technology is an important direction for modern agricultural development and has broad prospects. While my country has made significant progress in soilless cultivation technology, some problems and challenges remain. In the future, my country should strengthen innovation in soilless cultivation technology, policy support, and talent training to promote the widespread application of soilless cultivation technology in agricultural production and contribute to ensuring national food security and sustainable agricultural development.
