In Latin America, a 200,000 ㎡ large-scale soilless cultivation smart greenhouse project, designed and guided for construction by KunSheng Company, is currently in the process of being constructed rapidly.
Each single greenhouse covers an area of 20,000 square meters, adopting an advanced multi-span integrated design. The roof is covered with high-quality anti-UV plastic film and equipped with butterfly ventilation windows for efficient top natural ventilation; the side walls are also film-covered, fitted with rolling-film ventilation systems, and the side ventilation height reaches an impressive 4.5 meters, creating an optimal growing climate with excellent air circulation and temperature regulation.
To further boost crop yield and quality, the greenhouses are fully equipped with supporting facilities: internal shading and cooling system, professional soilless cultivation troughs, picking trolley tracks, hanging cultivation systems, and intelligent integrated water and fertilizer equipment, realizing automatic, precise water and nutrient supply for crops.
Beyond the planting zones, the project is matched with a complete post-harvest processing workshop, including pre-cooling rooms, automated cleaning and sorting production lines, and low-temperature cold storage. It forms a one-stop industrial chain from intelligent planting, standardized harvesting, precise sorting to fresh cold-chain preservation.
The project focuses on cultivating high-quality peppers, with an planned annual output of 2,000 tons. Fresh produce will be supplied to local Walmart supermarkets for regional consumption; the sorted, processed and packaged high-grade bell peppers will be exported to high-end markets in the United States and Europe, meeting international food safety and quality standards.
